Weight Loss Program Questions

How do GLP-1 medications work in weight loss?

GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are game-changers in the weight loss world. They work by mimicking a natural hormone in your body, helping to:

- Suppress appetite—so you feel full longer and eat less.

- Regulate blood sugar—which helps stabilize energy and prevent cravings.

- Slow down digestion—giving you more control over your hunger.

In short, they make it easier for your body to manage weight, curb cravings, and stay on track with your goals.

What is the cost for the weight loss program?

We want you to feel confident about your health and weight loss journey. The cost includes:

- Your monthly membership fee of $125 per month for unlimited care and access to your doctor.

- The cost of medication:

- Semaglutide: $120 per vial. One vial typically lasts 4-6 weeks at the starting dose.

- Tirzepatide: $185 per vial. One vial lasts 4-6 weeks at the starting dose.

These medications help with appetite control and regulate blood sugar, making it easier to lose weight. Your doctor will work with you to choose the best option based on your health and goals.

Can I use my insurance to obtain medication for the weight loss program?

Yes! You can use your insurance to cover the cost of the medication. In this case, you would only be responsible for the monthly membership fee of $125, which covers the comprehensive services that come with being a member.

Do you accept patients from all over Texas?

Yes! We love serving all of Texans. Whether you’re in a big city like Dallas or Houston, or somewhere more rural, we’ve got you covered. We offer virtual visits so you can get the care you need no matter where you live. Telemedicine gives you the flexibility to have consultations, follow-ups, and weight loss check-ins from the comfort of your own home.

Can I cancel the weight loss program?

You’re not locked into a long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time. While we recommend sticking with the program for at least 3 months to see meaningful results, we understand that life can change. It’s all about flexibility—you’re in control.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for my membership or services?

Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA to pay for your membership and many of the services at Lily Primary Care! You’ll just need to check with your employer to confirm exactly what they cover, but this is a great way to make health care more affordable.

Do you submit claims to insurance?
